Plot

Two men have died after a veteran railroad conductor inexplicably forgets how to drive a train, leading the Neuro-hunters to suspect that superhuman mind-warping may be to blame. Things get complicated, however, when a software wizard completely loses his ability to code and Dr. Carpenter discovers a homeless man who seems to have switched brains with a certain neuro-muscular specialist. Later that same night, Jane is singing in front of the bathroom mirror when Riley arrives to inform her that some hemoglobin accelerators have been stolen from a nearby pharmacy. Unfortunately, when the pair set out to investigate, Riley's memory is stolen during a back alley attack. Now the team is short one computer specialist, a development that places the entire Neuro-hunting operation in jeopardy. Much to everyone's surprise, a Neuro strolls right into headquarters in order to propose a deal: Should the team agree to help him steal a high-security item from a railcar, he will restore Riley's memory and submit to being chipped. Left with little choice other to comply, the team reluctantly agrees. After having the details downloaded into the memories by the Neuro, the team prepares to carry out their daring mission. Could it be that the team has gone to all this trouble to procure a simple oil painting? ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
