Review

Like an American Billy Bragg on speed, the Sloppy Guitarist sings and writes about late-20th-century internal and external angst with urgency and humor. He gets no points for originality, but as conscientious imitations of musical heroes go, this eight-song mini-LP is one of the better and more good-natured ones. ~ Richie Unterberger, Rovi
