Pierre Cohen (born March 20, 1950 in Bizerte, Tunisia) is a member of the National Assembly of France. He represents the Haute-Garonne department,[1] and is a member of the Socialist, Radical, Citizen and Miscellaneous Left group.
Cohen was born to a Tunisian Jewish father and French Catholic mother.[2]
He is mayor of Toulouse since the French municipal elections, 2008, where he narrowly defeated UMP incumbent Jean-Luc Moudenc.
