Pierre-François Bocage
Bocage, Pierre-François (1797-1863). Handsome Boulevard actor whose impassioned and expressive style of acting owed much to the English actor Kean, and who excelled in melodrama and Romantic drama. His performances in Dumas père's Antony (1831) and La Tour de Nesle (1832) made him the darling of the younger generation.
