Garnier, Pierre (b. 1928). Poet who, after publishing some quite traditional verse, came to prominence in the 1960s as the main French representative of concrete poetry; see Perpetuum mobile (1968), the programmatic Spatialisme et poésie concrète (1968), and Spatialisme/Anthologie, 1960-1990 (1990).
