A tiny, remote island in the Andaman and Nicobar islands in India. On January 22, 2005 the Indian Navy rescued a lone Nicobarese tribesman from Pillow Panja, 25 days after he had been deposited on the uninhabited island by a giant tsunami wave. At least 1,894 people were killed by the earthquake and tsunami that rocked the Andaman and Nicobar islands on December 26 2004 and over 5,500 were reported missing.
