In this luxuriously illustrated platform game you take the role of Pitfall Harry Jr., son of the hero of the original Pitfall. Your mission is to rescue your father from the dreaded warrior spirit Zakelua. At first armed only with a sling, you must climb, jump and swing your way through jungle, cavern, and temple settings. Your animated character will realistically slip, slide, twist and sway in response to your control. Powerups and new weapons can be found along the way to help you survive the onslaught of jaguars, skeletons, hawks, gargoyles, snakes, and other nasty creatures.
As a special bonus, the original Atari 2600 version of Pitfall is hidden in the game.

Roots & Influences
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure updated one of the original home platform games, Pitfall!, and brought it into the '90s. The sequel built on the jungle adventure theme of the original.
