Pittsburgh is situated at the point where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers meet to form the great Ohio River. The Andy Warhol Museum and Carnegie Science Center are also located across the Allegheny from downtown Pittsburgh. Across the Monongahela from downtown are the shops and restaurants of Station Square; further down the river is the South Side, which has coffee houses, jazz clubs, ethnic neighborhoods, antique dealersand the new SouthSide Works shopping/dining/entertainment complex. East of downtown Pittsburgh, in the neighborhood of Oakland, are the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History. A ride to the top of Mount Washington on either the Duquesne or the Monongahela Incline affords a spectacular view of the entire city.
