Pizza al Taglio, (Italian for pizza by the slice (Lit. by the cut)) also known as Pizza Rustica (Italian for peasant like), is a variety of pizza baked in large rectangular trays, and never include more than two toppings, aside from the staple tomato sauce, and cheese. The common, and general variety of the pizzas (one or two topping(s), including cheese, and tomato sauce) are, artichoke, asparagus, eggplant, ground meat and onion, potato, prosciutto, salami, sausage, ground-up Truffle and oil, zucchini. A wide variety of toppings, classics and originals, are also available, to suit those who like the variety of flavor but would prefer to not have multiple pieces to obtain the mixture. Pizza al taglio is very popular in Italy, where for many years it has been a common way for people to grab a quick snack or meal. It has started to catch on in many other countries with differences in the styles of crusts, and toppings, suiting their own cultures. }}
