It's impossible to adequately present every African music style in an 11-song anthology, but this sampler does a decent job of spotlighting popular attractions and diverse genres. There are superstars Salif Keita, Youssou N'Dour, and Alpha Blondy, plus crossover group Juluka, the internationally prominent Toure Kunda, and longtime South African star Miriam Makeba.
