Planet X is a UK based bicycle company based in the North of England with its warehouse in Doncaster. It was founded by Dave Loughran from Sheffield. Production of bicycles is usually in Taiwan. The company also owns the on-one brand.[citation needed]
Planet X was founded in the 1990s and originally produced inexpensive dirt or jump bikes, such as the iconic 'Jack Flash'. They later diversified into mountain bike, trials, cyclo cross, track, triathlon and road bikes.[citation needed]
In 2003 Planet-X sponsored the Trialskings team,[1] who used Planet-X Pitbull and Jack Flash frames. These were present in Trialskings[2] team videos, rode by Danny Halroyd and other members Adam and Dave.
Lately the company has focused on production of road bikes.[citation needed]
