Pluck, also known as pluck-cms, is an open source content management system, written in the PHP scripting language. It allows for easy webpage creation for users with little or no programming experience, and, unlike most content management systems, does not use a database to store its data. Pluck also includes a flexible module system, which allows developers to integrate custom functionality into the system.[1]

Contents

Features

Because pluck aims to be as simple as possible,[2] it doesn't include as many features as other content management systems.

Pluck has the following features[2]:

  • Simple page creation
  • Theming system
  • Module support
  • Trashcan

It also includes 3 default modules:

  • Albums
  • Blog
  • Contact form

More functionality can be added through the module system.[1]
