The Pocket Quality Reference Guide (PQRG) is a reference book available to McDonald's employees containing details of all food products sold in their stores (excluding promotional items). The PQRG is updated yearly or bi-yearly and is available to order by every McDonald's worldwide, with each PQRG usually being designed to the specific region or country.
The PQRG is often referred to as the McBible and includes information on product cooking times, holding times, cooking temperatures, product builds, visual descriptions, shelf lifes, quality, sizes and weights as well as troubleshooting information, calibration settings, production modes, suggested travel paths, template employee floor positioning plans and hospitality expectations.
