Podcasting in India is at a very nascent stage, despite the fact that a large number of people blog from the nation. Many of the current Indian podcasts seem to cater to the NRI community as podcasting inside India is still not very popular due to bandwidth constraints[1]. There are approximately 3000 Indian podcasters around[2].
Podcasting in Hinglish and in various Indian languages, predominantly in Tamil. Yhe Indicast is the most consistent and widespread podcast network producing podcast on Indian current affairs, Business, technology, hindi movies and expert interviews.[citation needed]
