Plot

Even a world renowned detective needs a vacation every now and then, and as master sleuth Hercule Poirot (David Suchet) relaxes at a French seaside resort in Deauville, Hastings (Hugh Fraser) uses the opportunity to polish up his golf game. When Poirot is recognized, however, a local abduction/murder finds his bid for rest and relaxation short lived. Recalling a similar crime that had made headlines in Britain nearly a decade earlier, Poirot heads back to London to confirm his suspicions and bring to justice the fiend who has gotten away with murder for far too long. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
