Poison Ivy

Game Character: Poison Ivy

Character Bio

ORIGIN: There are several tales of Poison Ivy's origins, but only two apply to the video game world. As told in Batman: The Animated Series, Pamela Isley was a botanist dating Harvey Dent (later Two-Face) who realized that she was immune to most poisons. In the movie Batman & Robin, Pamela was a lab assistant who gained similar powers after an accident at a tropical facility. In both cases, she used this new ability to her advantage -- along with her ability to seduce -- and began a life of crime. A "vegetarian" in a completely different sense of the word, Ivy regards plant life as more precious than humanity.

EDUCATION: Though it is unknown where she went to school, Poison Ivy's career as a well-respected botanist suggests that she spent multiple years in college.

OCCUPATION: Adventurer and professional criminal

AMBITIONS: To stop the devastation of plant life even at the cost of countless human lives.
