The Kashia Band of Pomo Indians of the Stewarts Point Rancheria
is a federally recognized tribe of Pomo people in Sonoma County,
California. They are also known as the Kashaya Pomo.

California.

The Pomo people are indigenous to California. They settled in
the Northern part on the Pacific Coast from what is now known as
Mendocino County to Clear Lake. The current population of Pomo is
estimated to be 4,500.
