Review

Produced by Emilio Estefan, Jr. and Joel Someillán, the third full-length record by Puerto Rican singer and actor Carlos Ponce mainly delivers romantic ballads and tropical-inflected songs, most of them co-written by the artist. Ponce features two versions of "Cocebido Sin Pecado," from the Latin soap opera Sin Pecado Concebido, and the hit single "Mujer Con Pantalones," composed by Emilio Estefan, Jr. and Nicolás Tovar. The Afro-Caribbean-flavored "Jabon," the orchestrated "Dime Caricias," and the Latin pop "Nalgadas de Sabina," inspired by singer/songwriter and Spanish rock icon Joaquín Sabina, emerge as some of the best tracks on the album. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
