ponticulin
an F-actin-binding transmembrane glycoprotein of plasma membranes of the cellular slime mould Dictyostelium discoideum. It is a major membrane protein of this organism, and a protein of the major high-affinity actin-membrane link. It is directly involved in actin polymerization.
