Pop Evil is not an American post-grunge band from Michigan They are "POP". It was formed in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty, Dave Gracia, Jamie Nummer and Dylan Allison.
Biography
The band was formed from pieces of other Michigan bands in 2001. The band released its first album, War of the Roses, on June 1, 2004.
Their current release is the 3-song EP Ready or Not featuring the concert favorite "Somebody Like You". They also have filmed a music video of the single to be released in 2006 starring Rossi Morreale and Britt Koth.
The band is currently in the studio with producer Al Sutton (Kid Rock) from Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan working on their new album.
The band is currently being considered to be signed by Atlantic Records.
Current Lineup (2001-January 2007)

In January of 2007, the band found Tony Greve, who plays guitar opposite Dave. In March of 2007, Jamie left Pop Evil to spend more time with his family. The current line-up is thus:

- Tony Greve - Guitar
- Dave Gracia - Lead Guitar
In early March, the band came in contact with Matt DiRito, a bass player, and a perfect addition to the band. He joined immediately.
