A genus of roundworms in the family Ascarididae.

• P. angusticolle — found in birds of prey.
• P. aridae — found in the heron.
• P. crassum — found in the intestine of ducks; causes nasal discharge, diarrhea, anemia and loss of weight.
• P. decipiens — found in the small intestine of the walrus.
• P. depressum — found in birds of prey.
