Wikipedia: Port Chalmers (New Zealand electorate)

Port Chalmers then Chalmers was a former parliamentary electorate in the Otago region of New Zealand, from 1866 to 1938. It was centred on the town of Port Chalmers the main port of Dunedin and Otago.

As Port Chalmers the seat was represented by six Members of Parliament from 1866 to 1893, including Thomas Dick 1866-67, James Macandrew 1871-75 and 1879-87, William Hunter Reynolds 1876-78 and James Mills 1887-93.

As Chalmers the seat was represented by six Members of Parliament from 1893 to 1938, including John A. Millar from 1893 to 1896, Edward Henry Clark from 1908 to 1914, James McColl Dickson from 1914 to 1928, and Archibald Campbell from 1935 to 1938.
