The Portuguese Naval School (Portuguese: Escola Naval) is a university-level naval academy in Lisbon, Portugal. Founded in 1845, the school is located at the Lisbon Naval Base, on the south bank of the Tagus river.
Academics
In addition to a core academic and professional curriculum, students may major in one of six 5-year programs:
Operational Navy Science (Seaman)
- Naval Medicine
- Naval Engineering - Mechanics
- Naval Engineering - Weapons and Electronics
- Naval Supply and Logistics
- Marine Corps
