Potato harvesters are machines that harvest potatoes. They work by lifting the potatoes using a spade on to a web where the loose clay falls out. The potatoes then move back on the harvester on to dolmen rollers and then on to a picking table where a men pick out the stones and the clay. The potatoes then go on to a side elevator and into a trailer or a potato box.
They come in single row and some can lift up to six rows at a time, some are self propelled and others are trailed behind tractors.
