Potato waffle

Wikipedia: Potato waffle
A potato waffle, far left, as part of a full breakfast

Potato waffles are a potato based savoury food in a waffle like lattice shape. They are common in the UK and Ireland and are also available in some other countries.

They are made of reconstituted potato, oil, and seasonings[1]. They may be baked, grilled, or fried, and are used as a side dish, often together with sausages or bacon, or as a snack food. They are sold frozen and produced by various frozen food companies including Birds Eye and McCain Foods.
