Prado is a neighborhood in the northern parts of Montevideo. It's a residential neighborhood of mansions on tree-lined streets built in the early 20th century.

The Prado is home to a large park who's principal attractions are Rosedal, a rose garden, fountains, and monuments. The Miguelete creek flows through the park.

Near the park is the "Rural del Prado" an exposition center and fair grounds.

The neighborhood is home to three soccer stadiums, Parque José Nasazzi , Parque Federico Saroldi, y Parque Alfredo V. Viera where the soccer teams Club Atlético Bella Vista, Club Atlético River Plate, y Montevideo Wanderers, respectively.

The Prado is home to the Professor Atilio Lombardo Botanical Gardens, the Juan Manuel Blanes Museum, and the Castillo Soneira
