Premios TVyNovelas

The TVyNovelas Awards (Spanish: Premios TVyNovelas) is an annual award show produced by Televisa and the magazine TVyNovelas where the best productions of Mexican television are honored, especially telenovelas. Telenovelas get awards in different categories: Best Telenovela of the Year, Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, Best Male Villain, Best Female Villain, Best Debutant, Best Theme Song. Premios TVyNovelas is the most important celebration in the world of telenovelas. In 2002, 20 Honorary Awards were bestowed to 20 performers (the best of each year) celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Award Ceremony.

It is broadcast through Televisa in Mexico and Latin America and through Univision in the United States.
