This film was the second in a series of pictures released by Triangle, each one bearing the name of one of the seven deadly sins. Although taking place in the era it was shot -- the 1910s -- the lead characters are appropriately named Adam (George LeGuere) and Eve (Shirley Mason). Adam is just one of Eve's suitors -- the others are banker Eugene D'Arcy (Holbrook Blinn) and her favorite, a bogus royal who calls himself Le Comte de Frais (Guido Colucci). Eve boards a ship headed for Europe with Le Comte without bothering to marry him. But D'Arcy chases after them and proves that the supposed royal is actually a gunman. Then Adam comes back into the picture and reveals that D'Arcy isn't so squeaky clean himself -- among other things, he's a dope fiend. When D'Arcy dies, Adam and Eve finally join together. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
