Prince Charles of Prussia (Friedrich Karl Alexander) was born on June 29, 1801 in Charlottenburg. He was the son of Frederick William III of Prussia and Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
Marriage and Issue
He married Princess Marie of Saxe-Weimar on May 26, 1827 in Charlottenburg. They had three children together:
- Prince Frederick Charles of Prussia (b. 1828)
- Princess Louise of Prussia (1829 - 1901). Married Alexis of Hesse-Philippsthal-Barchfel
- Princess Anna of Prussia (1836 - 1918). Married Friedrich Wilhelm of Hesse-Kassel (or Hesse-Cassel)
Death
Charles died on January 21, 1883 in Berlin.
