Prince Yeletsky

Yeletsky, Prince (Tchaikovsky: The Queen of Spades). Baritone. He recently became engaged to Lisa, granddaughter of the old Countess, the girl with whom Hermann has fallen in love. When Hermann gambles everything on the Ace of Spades, it is Yeletsky who accepts the bet, determined to destroy Hermann whom he holds responsible for Lisa's suicide.
