Princess Beatrice of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha

Princess Beatrice of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (b. 15 July, 1951 in Coburg) is the second daughter of Prince Friedrich Josias of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and his second wife, Denyse von Muralt. She is the half-sister of Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the current Head of House.

She married Prince Friedrich of Saxe-Meiningen (21 January, 1935-13 July 2004) on June 12, 1977. They had two children:

  • HH Princess Marie-Alexandra Elisabeth Beatrice of Saxe-Meiningen, Duchess in Saxony (b. 5 July, 1978), married to Benno Widmer (b. 17 July, 1971),
  • HH Prince Friedrich Constantin of Saxe-Meiningen, Duke in Saxony (b. 3 June, 1980).
