The Princess Tower is a residential skyscraper that is currently under construction in Dubai.[2] This supertall will be finished in 2010 and it will rise to 414 m (1,358 ft) and have 107 floors. The building was originally proposed at only 90 floors.[1] When complete, Princess Tower will be the world's tallest all-residential building, taking the title from the Q1 (building) in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.[2]
When finished, the Princess Tower will include the most expensive apartments in the world, the best of which may cost US$85,000,000. The ground floor "Entrance Hall" of the building will be gilded with white gold and supplemented with diamonds, opals, rubies, sapphires and crystals (confirmed in January 2008 by the builder).[citation needed]
As of December 2009, 80 storeys of Princess Tower have been completed.
