Pro Sulla (‘for Sulla’), speech by Cicero ((1) 3) in defence of P. Cornelius Sulla (elected consul for 65 but convicted of bribery and so disqualified; he was a relation of the famous Sulla, in whose proscriptions he amassed great wealth). Sulla was acquitted and rewarded Cicero well.
