Edward T. McDougal's drama Prodigy shows how an illiterate street kid shapes the lives of some party-oriented fraternity members. After escaping from an abusive home, 12-year old Nathan hides out at a local frat house. The members take him under their wings but must enroll him in the college or else have their charter taken away. They use outrageous cheating methods to achieve this goal but are eventually discovered. When the truth is uncovered, the brothers show the selfless qualities that Nathan has brought out in them. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide
