A genus of gram-negative, rod-shaped, facultative anaerobic bacteria, associated with urinary tract and secondary tissue infections.

A genus of motile, peritrichous, nonsporeforming, aerobic or facultatively anaerobic bacteria containing gram-negative rods; it includes the species which can occur in urinary tract infections.
