The Province of Pavia (It. Provincia di Pavia) is a province in the region of Lombardy in Italy. City of Pavia is the capital.

It has an area of 2,965 km² [1], and a total population of 493,753 (2001). There are 190 communes in the province. [2]

That part of the province south of the river Po is known as the Oltrepò Pavese.
