p. exfoliative dermatosis — an idiopathic disease of cats and dogs characterized by asymptomatic, large, erythematous, irregular, scaly plaques symmetrically disposed over the forelimbs and trunk. A similar disease is also recorded in goats but the lesions are on the face under the belly and on the perineum.
p.-lichenoid dermatosis — multiple lichenoid, hyperkeratotic papules and plaques begin to appear in young adult English springer spaniel dogs, first on the pinnae, ear canal and inguinal skin and later other areas.
