Public Opinion Quarterly
Public Opinion Quarterly is an academic journal published by Oxford University Press for the American Association for Public Opinion Research, covering communication studies and political science. It was established in 1937 and according to the Journal Citation Reports its 2010 impact factor is 1.933, ranking it 7th out of 83 journals in the category "Social Sciences, Interdisciplinary", 4th out of 67 in the category "Communication", and 7th out of 139 in the category "Political Science". The journal was originally sponsored by Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Its first editor was former diplomat Dewitt Clinton Poole.[1]
