A proprietary combination of codeine (a cough suppressant) and guaiacol (an expectorant), used to relieve the symptoms of coughs, colds, bronchial catarrh, and other infections of the upper airways, such as pharyngitis or laryngitis. It is available as a liquid without a prescription, but only from pharmacies.
