Purkinje Incorporated is privately owned and operated with over 300 employees located within their corporate offices in St. Louis, Montreal, Chicago, New Hampshire, and Hyderabad (India). They currently serve over 5000 physicians in clinics, community health centers, and hospitals throughout North America. The company offers an integrated suite of solutions[clarification needed] in the areas of practice management, electronic health records, personal health records, and Electronic prescribing. In addition Purkinje provides a series of professional services to physician practices including billing services, transcription, and medication dispensing.
The principal owner and financier of Purkinje is John Doerr.
