A proprietary combination of anthraquinone glycosides (anti-inflammatory agents) and salicylic acid (a keratolytic), used for the treatment of mouth ulcers and sores caused by ill-fitting dentures. It is available as a solution and can be obtained without a prescription, but only from pharmacies.

Precautions:
Pyralvex is not recommended for children. See also salicylic acid.
