Qimen County (; pinyin: Qímén Xiàn) is a county in Anhui, China under the jurisdiction of Huangshan City. Its population is 190,000 and its area is 2257 square kilometers. The government of Qimen County is located in Qishan Town.

Qimen County has jurisdiction over 7 towns and 13 townships.

History

Qimen County was established in 766 during the Tang Dynasty(Era Yongtai 2). It is named from the Qishan Mount.in the northeast and Chanjiang River (阊江) in the southwest.[citation needed]

Economy

Qimen County is a tea-producing region, and the black tea called Keemun tea is named for Qimen.

Places of interest

The border with Shitai County was placed in a National Natural Reserve. It includes a 1700 meter high peak in the Huangshan Mountain Range.
