An earlier family of communications programs for DOS and Windows from Mustang Software, Inc., Bakersfield, CA. The programs supported a variety of modems, file transfer protocols and terminal emulations. Mustang Software also published the popular WILDCAT! BBS software. In 2000, Mustang was acquired by Quintus Corporation, and one year later, a bankrupt Quintus was purchased by Lucent spin-off, Avaya.
