Concept

Quantros focuses on four primary health care markets: Quality, patient safety, infection control and accreditation standards compliance. The company’s Web based, real-time data capture technology validates and submits required data to agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC) and the United States Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Quantros clients include hospitals, health care organizations, and patient safety organizations (PSOs).

Timeline

• 2000 – Company founded; introduces web-based standards compliance self monitoring
• 2003 – Acquisition: Doctor Quality's Risk Prevention Management (RPM) application and client base
• 2004 – Quantros becomes a certified Performance Measurement System (PMS) vendor for The Joint Commission's ORYX Core Measures initiative
• 2005 – Quantros becomes a certified Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) Adult Cardiac Surgery (CABG) data registry vendor
• 2006 – Quantros becomes a certified American College of Cardiology ACC-NCDR CathPCI data registry vendor
