Quarantined Rivals was based on the stage farce by George Randolph Chester. Per the title, a pair of young lovers, played by Kathleen Collins and Robert Agnew, are quarantined during an epidemic with Collins' harridan of a mother and an amorous plumber played by John Miljan. Also forced in close quarters with the hero and heroine are a barber and his new bride. Sure enough, everyone begins making a play for everyone else's sweetheart, with the poor plumber caught in the middle. Essentially a two-reeler expanded to five, Quarantined Rivals begins to repeat itself early in the proceedings. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
