A 1914 Railway Clearing House map of lines around Queenstown Road (Battersea) railway station

Queenstown Road is a railway station in South London, between Vauxhall and Clapham Junction. It is a short walk from Battersea Park station and Battersea Park. It has eight tracks running through it but only three platforms, two of which are in use, serving trains on the Waterloo to Richmond line and the Hounslow Loop.

The entrance still bears the original name of the station, Queen's Road, not to be confused with Queens Road Peckham, Walthamstow Queen's Road or Queensway tube station, which was also originally called Queens Road. Note that Queenstown Road station's modern entrance and platform signage lacks the "(Battersea)" suffix that is applied to it on timetables and maps, ie. Queenstown Road (Battersea). However, the latest "Travelcard Zones" and "High Frequency services" maps produced by Transport for London both show the station as plain "Queenstown Road".[2] Moreover, on the map produced by the station managers, South West Trains, the station is also down as "Queenstown Road".[3]
