Quilter is a UK-based company with 18,000 clients and 300 staff based in the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands. Quilter provides discretionary, fee-based wealth advisory services to private clients.
Citigroup agreed to acquire Quilter from Morgan Stanley on 13 December 2006 (subject to requisite regulatory approvals, expected in Q1 2007). Citigroup expect Quilter to be incorporated into its Global Wealth Management division.
