Quirino is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. According to the latest census, it has a population of 7,866 people in 1,348 households.
Formerly known as Angkaki, the municipality was renamed to Quirino in honor of Elpidio Quirino, the 6th President of the Philippines.
