Review

One of the band's most successful LPs and the one that proved that Cortijo was always looking to keep up with the mainstream. Although they were one of Puerto Rico's most ardent cultural benefactors, they also had a keen interest in producing complete, attractive packages. The title tune, "Bomba Carambomba," the hilarious "El Chivo," the highly popular "Si Te Contara," and the rest of the repertoire have a raw energy that remains unequaled.
