Quotable Cards creates stationary and other gifts, including greeting cards, magnets, tote bags, candles, stationery, and calendars, all imprinted with inspirational quotations. The company was founded by Colgate University grads Gillian Simon and Matt Vogel in 1993. After the co-founders invested $10,000 of their own money and starting with 48 card designs, they received several orders from independent retailers. Simon, a graphic designer, hand-crafts every card. Quotable's products are now available at retailers (primarily gift shops and bookstores) throughout the world, including those in the US, Canada, the UK, and Japan.
